Vintage Sterling & 800 Silver Wire Filigree Ball Lariat Necklace Earrings 41.7g

Description

Very good vintage condition.  Some fine surface scratches, silver plating wear on the clips (which are brass) and light patina.  Pieces are painstakingly handmade and it shows.  The wire work is finely detailed and simply exquisite.  Pieces are unmarked but tested as follows:  800 silver on the chain and .925 silver on the filigree wire balls.  Clips are not sterling but a sturdier brass.  Necklace chain measures 32" from end to end, without including the end pieces.  Other measurements can be seen in the photos.
Origin is unknown but likely Turkey or India.
Exotic and sensual; a remarkable set.
