Vintage MARHILL Mother-of-Pearl and Gold Tone Folding Comb

Description

This is a vintage folding comb that was made by the Marhill Company, a leading mid-century manufacturer of mother-of-pearl gifts and accessories.
Covered in a baby blue felt sheath, this lovely comb case measures approximately 4 ¼” in length and features a genuine mother-of-pearl finish on one side and a gold tone finish on the other.
The enclosed tortoiseshell comb measures approximately 4” in length and effortlessly folds in and out of the case.
The felt sheath is marked “Marhill”.
Despite some wear to the stitching on the sheath and a few minor scuffs/scratches on the comb, this folding comb/case is in very good condition with no evidence of damage.
It is a pretty 1950’s hair accessory that has been well preserved.
