    Vintage Crewel Embroidery Alligator & Walrus Two “Crewel Creatures” 1968 Framed. Condition is "Used".
    Set of two vintage crewel embroidery pieces, completed and framed. From the 1968 JC Penney catalog, “Crewel Creatures”, one a yellow & orange alligator, the other a blue and green walrus. Delightful set, would be great in a nursery. Overall good vintage condition with typical signs of age/wear to wooden frames, some slight pulls to the burlap background of embroidery. Condition of the actual yarn embroidery on the animals is very good; one of the flower stems on the walrus is loose. Each one measures approximately 17 1/4” by 16 1/4”.
