Vintage Cara Nome Compact With Box.
From an Estate comes An absolutely beautiful Cara Nome compact from the 40’s area. I listed this as Used just due to its age but the compact has never actually been used. The papers covering the mirror and the powder compartment are still in place. There is a cover over the powder compartment with the original puff. The mirror is sharp and clear. The gold compact is 2 1/2” square. There is a sunburst pattern on the front with the Floral Lang Lois motif. The back is inscribed Cara Nome, Distr Lang Lois, Boston, Los Angeles. ( The dark and light on the pics of the compact are shadows. It is a uniform color) The presentation box is in great condition and there is even a gift card still inside. A wonderful piece for the Collector who wants a pristine piece or for anyone who appreciates just a lovely compact.
