Vintage 1920's Djer Kiss Powder Compact Original Puff Presentation Box Purple

Up for sale is a very hard to find vintage Djer Kiss German silver powder compact with mirror, original powder puff and original presentation box. It emerged in the early years of the 20th century, by French perfumer, Kerkoff. With this particular item, the mirror is clean and the puff is in lovely condition. The puff almost looks unused. This piece has a fantastic raised Art Nouveau design on the lid with a blank cartouche for having initials engraved. Measures approximately 2 inches in diameter. It has a purple tassel attached to the latch which matches the purple theme. Everything, even the presentation box is in excellent vintage condition, especially considering the age of the item. The case incorporated a radically new closing mechanism patented by the Groove-Lock Company in 1927. Even the sticker on the back is nice. It reads Djer Kiss Chair Compact. The compact could use cleaning. I think it would really gleam. I thought I would leave that to the buyer.
