We have for you an unusual tin, lithographed spinning “Ballet Dancer” tops manufactured by Louis Marx & Company of New York City, New York.
This beautiful, fragile, tin ballerina operates by holding the ballerina in your hand and inserting the spinning rod as far as it will go into the slot on her dresses edge and pull  IT WORKS
Marx “Ballet Dancer” spinning top is in great all original condition with no breaks, restorations, repairs, or touch ups. These pieces show the usual patina, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, and wear that are to be expected from age and play. Approximately 5 ¾” H.
