Radio Replacement Interface for select GM LAN 29-bit Data-bus (with 14-pin and 16-pin harness) Vehicles with or without a Bose Sound System.
This Radio Replacement Interface will help you retain your OnStar® system's functionality and your Bose factory-installed amplifier (if present) when your vehicle's factory radio is replaced with an aftermarket radio in a 29-bit GMLAN vehicle. You'll be able to retain your warning chimes, Rear Seat Controls (RSC)* and factory XM radio. The PAC OS-5 will also provide data driven outputs such as retained accessory power (RAP), vehicle speed sensor (VSS), illumination, reverse trigger and parking brake.

Important Compatibility Notes:
The
OS-5
will retain the use of the factory XM receiver. Factory
SWC or RSE
controls
must
be present for use of this feature.
SWI interface must be used in conjunction for SWC retention. You can find it

RSC buttons that are identical to the SWC will mimic the SWC function for function.
Premium factory amplified systems
will not fade as neither the aftermarket radio or the RP interface have the ability to control the amplifier’s fader.
2012 Avalanche, Sierra, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe & Yukon
