    Description

    Approx. 2 3/4" wide x 2 7/8" front to back, this compact is signed 'Elgin American' with a very shiny inside. One compartment just has a powder puff, and rouge in the other. The outside of the clamshell shaped case has only light wear to the paint. I'm noticing it could be buffed out to be a little whiter. The insert in the lid is a separate enameled piece. Vintage 1940s. Good luck!
