The compact features Venus in the center, with Cupid overhead
The 3 women to her left are the "Three Graces"
To the right is Zephyrus, the west wind, who is grasping onto Chloris
After he succeeds in taking her for his own, they are married and Chloris transforms into Flora, the other female figure on the right side
It is extremely rare to find a SET in such beautiful condition
This is a perfectly matched set
Both compact and lipstick case appear to have not been used, or rarely used
Both are in wonderful condition
The compact
The compact mirror is beveled, and in great condition
The powder sifter is included
The compact inside is very clean
There is a hallmark "800" and a lozenge mark that I cannot make out
Compact case opens and closes as it should with a snap
There is a clear protective coating over the hand painting
The hand painting is in wonderful condition
There are no dings, dents, chips, repairs noted
Beautiful natural aged patina is present on the silver gilt
Lipstick Case
Opens and closes as it should
Mirror is in great condition with a couple minor spots
Lipstick tube seems to have never held any product
Beautiful natural aged patina is present on the silver gilt
There is one scratch on the case that is not visible when the mirror is closed
