KIGU of London Goldtone Compact in Shape of Suitcase with Travel Labels c.1940's

Description

Up for sale a KIGU of London textured goldtone compact in the shape of a well-traveled suitcase with colorful, pictorial travel labels on the lid- Paris, London, Zurich, Vienna, New York, Monte Carlo, Rome, Queen Elizabeth cruise ship.  The compact is also monogramed on the lid "DVK" in script.  The interior powder lid is engraved "Bon Voyage" with a flower and the KIGU mark of "KIGU" arranged in a triangle with a crown above.  The suitcase compact measures 2.5" x 3.25".  Good vintage condition with normal signs of age, wear and use, slight wear to the reverse and mirror.
