Framed Finished Tree of Life Animals Crewel Embroidery Dimensions 15x20
This is such a precious piece that would be great for a child's room or for mid-century modern decor.  Pictures don't do it justice, as the stitching gives it a 3-D effect in some areas.
The design is by Ellen Silver and it was done from a Dimensions kit called Tree of Life.
Frame measures approx. 15" x 20" x 1.5" deep.
CONDITION: In good condition.  Wood frame has a couple of small imperfections from age (see pics).  One small area on the actual stitching that looks like it was trimmed (see last pic).  Knowledgeable buyer will need to better protect the back with paper or cardboard, as the tape is starting to lift a little.  There is evidence this was framed differently at one point, because there are several small rust stains on the BACK edges where the work was held in place by small metal brackets (see pic).
