Antique Powder/Rouge Compact With Mesh Bottom. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS First Class.
This is an antique compact from the 30’s to early 40’s. The compact itself has no markings but the puff is marked Foster of the J M Foster Co. This is a very interesting compact. The lid has a masted sailing ship imprinted on a gold swirled background. Hidden behind the mirror is a section for rouge. It looks like a brand new cake and the puff is still there. The mirror is not cracked and is still pretty clear. The powder puff is there but it is not in great shape. There is no powder but the strainer is there and the bottom is mesh which can expand with a powder fill up. The compact measures 2 1/4”. This compact is in really great condition for it’s age and would make a fine addition to your collection.
